Aida lives in iMessage and runs on one Mac in one house. She works for the people who live there, and keeps what they tell her there.
The more a helper knows about your life, the closer to home it should live.
Messages, notes and memory sit on a Mac in the house, not in an app company's database.
To think, she sends the words of a request to Claude, by Anthropic. Training is off.
Voice memos are turned into text on the Mac. The audio never leaves it.

| # | What | Where it goes | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Your messages, photos and the notes she keeps | The Mac, in one database and a folder of notes. A nightly encrypted backup stays on the same Mac. | Until deleted. Backups roll off after 30 nights. |
| 02 | The text of each request she works on | Anthropic, to run Claude. Model training is turned off for this account. | Deleted by Anthropic within 30 days, unless flagged for a safety review. |
| 03 | Voice memos | Transcribed on the Mac. Only the text goes on, as in 02. | The audio stays on the Mac, with the message. |
| 04 | Web lookups | Anthropic's web search, and pages opened in a browser on the Mac. | Only what the lookup needs is sent. |
| 05 | Calendars and reminder lists | Only the ones shared with Aida's own Apple ID. Everyone in the house can see those. | Unshare from your phone any time. |
| 06 | Location | Only a pin you send her yourself. She never tracks anyone. | Kept with that message. |
Each person's chat, notes, tasks and watches are kept apart in code, so a request from one person cannot read another's, Andrej's included. What is shared is shared on purpose: calendars and lists you share with her, and the household's shopping logins.
Plainly: Aida runs on Andrej's Mac, so he could open the files there. If that isn't right for something, don't tell her.
She texts people only for someone she works for, and only after they approved the message. Her first text always says who she is:
Hi Sam, this is Aida, Andrej's assistant, texting on his behalf about the sink.
Your replies are stored on the Mac, shown to the person she texts for, and handled as in 02. If you'd rather she didn't text you, reply and say so. It goes straight to them.
In a group with the person she works for, anyone may ask her something. She answers in the group, looks things up logged out, and holds nothing personal of anyone's in that conversation.
No ads. No selling or renting data. No analytics, trackers or cookies, on this page or anywhere else she runs.
